Hi,

I am returning to work and will be working mornings and was wondering if anyone could recommend childcare in Wheathampstead / Harpenden area. Nurseries seem to charge an arm and a leg if you want to only have a half day so am looking for a childminder / nanny.

Cheers

Louisa

N2006 · 11/02/2009 12:02

Does anyone know of any good childminders in the Wheathampstead area please?

PaulaMummyKnowsBest · 11/02/2009 19:54

I would be interested too but i feel I may be too expensive if a nursery is.

How many mornings and is it permanent?

Hi,
I'm looking to return to work (part time) in September and I'm looking for childcare for my 3 1/2 yr old son and 3 month old daughter (will be 11 months old in Sept). I'm looking for childcare that will cover around 3 full days including drop off and pick up from my son's school. Ideally, I'd like them both to be looked after by the same person, preferably a fello mum.
Any ideas?
thx

Hi

I am a qualified childminder who will be moving to Wheathampstead in July. I will have part time vacancies from Aug 2010. I have previously worked as a Nanny and Teaching Assistant and have excellent references. I am also a mummy to a 3 year old little boy who is very gentle and loves the company of other children.

If anyone would like to contact me for any further information please email me at [email protected]

Many thanks
Sian

Ohhhh..... you might be very popular. There is a lack of childminders in this neck of the woods.

Where are you moving from? (extremely nosy emoticon)

PipSqueaks · 09/05/2010 21:13

Hi Loujalou

Thank you for your message very encouraging!

We are moving from just outside of Guildford due to my husbands work. We are very excited about the move the village looks very nice and we are looking forward to becoming part of the community. Just need to do lots of planning and packing now!!

We are moving in July and I will be all settled and ready to start my childminding from begining of Sept so please please pass my details on.
