When should I start looking? We got existing nanny from an agency and she is wondeful, but pregnany now and intending to take 6 months off (plus accrued leave, presumably!!). When should we start looking? The agency were fab but horribly expensive; how much hassle is there in DIYing? Finallylm, what is a reasonable weekly pay and do we need to pay her for when we are away on holiday, assuming we give plenty of notice? The girls are 6 and 3, so there is school run and daytime care for the little one, plus both in the school holidays.
