A mindee that I have only one day a week has requested to go full time for the next month or 2 and then back down to maybe 2/3 days a week again. I have space and am happy to do this, but was not sure what I should do re contracts? Do I do a new contract for full time hours and then do a new one again when she drops back down to 2/3 days a week? I am inclined to just wait and do a brand new contract when mum knows what she needs long term, or is this leaving myself open to trouble? What would you do?

i would do a whole new contract, you then have it in writing about the child attending full time.
it can stop any problems with payment too as you have it in writing how much fees will be for full-time.
i would also ask for a weeks notice when they want to reduce the hours back to the few days.

I would just make sure I have it in writing and signed, to attach to their existing contract. However.... it is safer to do a new contract.
