Childcare needed in South Manchester

I'm just investigating my options for childcare as my dd1 is starting school in Jan and that has complicated things somewhat! DD2 goes to nusery but it isn't near the school and life is going to get difficult as I'm in the final year of a midwifery degree (panic panic). I just wonder if there are any childcare professionals around able to do school drop off/pick up for a nearly 5 year old and look after a 2 year old either in my home or yours? Also holiday cover for the 5 year old in an ideal world!!!God, I don't ask much do I?

There are plenty of childminders who can do that. Will find a link if I can remember where to look...

In Chorlton tigersmum. Lulumama, I'm at Salford and loving it. Bloody hard though, but my god, what you can do when you put your mind to it! Is Edge Hill your closest? I can wholeheartedly recommend Salford if not.
