Good rainy morning to those of you who are up and about.

Hope PinkChick and NumberFour got some sleep last night. Some parents need a good kick up the backside. I think we have all been in a similar position and it is so upsetting for us .

What I think is upsetting is that our own children are constantly subjected to colds, etc. My youngest ending up in hospital for a week due to a mindee passing something on. He has had a heavy cold for the past 2 weeks and has now come down with a sickness bug (all from mindees). You do wonder why we do this job but I suppose our kids would pick up all the bugs from other places. I just feel so sorry for my poor wee boy. .

Still Christmas is only around the corner so its something to look forward to.

Not been around much recently, don't know where the time goes!!!

Not sure what's been happening with people recently, I feel out of touch.

Well, I've got a busy weekend of catching up with paperwork (not done for last 2 weekends, oops) and packing for ds1 as my brother is taking him to Disneyland Paris next week!! Dh has just taken him to the pet shop and ds2 is bouncing away in the door bouncer so I really should use the time to catch up but I'm not in the mood right now. My nan died this morning and I've been asked to do a reading at the funeral and after reading the words of the poems dad sent, not sure I can do it without bursting into tears. We'll see!

Anyway, what's everyone been up to? I'm to say I can't remember which one of you it was who was having tests??? But wanted to ask how it was going?

Right, I'm off to put one big Christmas list together on Word for ds1 from his many lists in his writing lol. Haven't done any Christmas shopping yet and now I can't do it when I thought I could.

DS had 5 teeth out this morning under GA. Poor little thing was really brave, is sleeping on my shoulder now.

I have been to Fathers! I love him dearly, but as some of you know, I swear Victor Meldrew was based on him.

Today's rant was that the free bus pass dosnt start till 9.30 in Weymouth, not 9.00 as in Dorchester. We had the ins and outs of it all, bless him

I wont be seeing him over Christmas, but will go down on the 22nd to take him Hanukkah Pressies.

Christmas will be with DS, DDIL and DDILSIS, (work that one out )

And how are No.4 and PC this afternoon, hope you have got you have your FU heads on darlings.

Looney, sorry to hear about your nan [[HUGS]]. I am having test and having an ultrasound on tuesday and then the consultant on the 23rd (had to rearrange due to ultrasound not coming through!)

Morning, the mums house is in chaos! Ds3 is ill, high temp, wheezy and extremely clingy. He has just been arguing with ds4 (1 yrs old) that he was here first when I was trying to give them both a cuddle

Dh and Ds1 are cleaning and preping the hallway for its new paint job!!! Dark green at the bottom, extremely pale/light green at the top and a greeny boarder!!! Very christmassy - I wonder what colour it will go in the spring - yellow????

COOL..... - who are you? Is it coolj? Some of these new names have me very confused Thanks for your kind words. As for crackers etc, I may see if after school mindee wants to do that this week. I wonder if I can remember how to do them Ds1 won't be here to do it as he'll be in Disneyland and the others are probably a bit young but school mindee would probably like it.

mums - so will you have more of an idea on 23rd then? I'll try my best to remember to pop in after the funeral but not sure how late that will be as it's 4 hrs away. I'll be thinking of you though xx Sorry you have a poorly house although I suppose it takes your mind of things a bit. I'm ok this morning thanks. Had a bit of trouble last night with my feelings as one minute I'm pleased she's finally at peace and the next I'm all upset remembering the last time I saw her and how she thought my parents were trying to kill her and well, seeing and 80+ yr old crying lots with confusion etc, it's just so sad So I suppose I'm grieving for who she was before all this iyswim.

my DH, 4 yr old DS and I all slept til..... 13h30 today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we woke at 8, all had a drink and then fell back to sleep!

i really needed it because i have a horrible cold. the other two are just bone idle

we have not done this since before DS arrived.
