I've got to sort out payroll. Should I pay the tax bit electronically or by cheque? Is either much more hassle than the other? Thanks for any advice.

neither is haslle but ensure you get ref on any paymetn as I've known HMRC lose stuff. Also need to factor in time delay re cheque - is this going to be an issue for your cash flow wise. personally I'd prefer electronic as easier/can show paper trail (so to speak) more effectively
