My daughter has been with her 2 yrs but is starting nursery in January and we are all gutted because we love her so much.

Have £50 to spend. Was thinking about vouchers for local spa but don't know if she'd want to go alone/ have time to go.

Need other ideas please.

TIA

I got my childminder two presents - one when each of my children left her - the first was dinner for two at a lovely local, the other was a necklace from a jeweller I knew she liked. Spa good if she likes spas, but she may not - personally I can't stand them. Is there someone you can ask who will know her taste?

Agh - lovely local restaurant obviously.

if it were me i would love something i could keep to remind me of the little one. spa day is lovely but gone too soon!

i like the idea of a necklace, too.

I collect glass, and my lovely girl who recently left bought me a beautiful vase, just my sort of thing, Mum got the idea when we were talking one day, and I had said I love clear glass.

Little one who has just gone to Oz, got me a manicure voucher, and a clear glass photo frame (with a photo of him in it)
