Hi, i am thinking of becoming a childminder, sp i can return to working and still continue at home with my daughter. I have worked full time since she was born our relationship really suffered being away from each other so this seems like a great solution.
I am booked to attend a briefing session on the 12th Jan but i am quite keen to find out some things before hand and find out from some other CM's how it is for them?
What are the costs to start up?
What are the requirements?
How long does it take?
Is it how you thought it would be?
Do you have to stick to some sort of curriculum?

I am really interested to find out as I had a third big operation earlier this year on my spine and its been reall successful this time, so now i am feeling good and ready to get out there!!
