Morning!

When Monday and Tuesday are over it feels like it is almost weekend... Well, maybe.

So far so good here. Have not broken my diet, DS still asleep, coffee is hot and I have only had to ask mindee once this morning not to jump up the stairs in case he hurts himself

Have you seen the latest from Sitters? They are telling parents that their babysitters can't change a nappy if the child is over the age of 2 (do they mean 2 years 1 day old then).
Some childminders I expect do occasional work for Sitters - have you come across this rule? Have you changed a nappy on a child aged over 2?
Imagine what would happen if childminders refused to change nappies on children over 2 years old - not all 2.5 year old's, 3 year olds etc are dry in the day, yet alone at night.

I have worked for sitters for 4 years, but have once changed a nappy once (under 2).

However sitters have not informed me of this rule.

I do wonder if the rule actually exists. But the OP on this thread has been told this.

As I don't do work for Sitters, I've not seen their contracts. Does it mention anything in it to do with children with Special Needs / Disabilities?

AbbaFan · 19/11/2008 18:44

Nope says nothing like that in my contract.

However under the part : Childcarers must, it has must prepare feeds, change nappies if the requested by the employer.
