Does anyone use a nanny tax service? Would you recommend it? Some are advertising at the moment that if you use them you can get a £75 refund for filing online from HMRC. The nanny tax service is 109 per year so it doesnt work out too bad if this refund offer is as straightforward as it seems. Is the charge advertised, 109 per year, the whole cost or are there extras?

Is there a better way?

I use Nanny tax - www.nannytax.co.uk. I have used them for 3 years and so far so good. I can't remember what I pay to use the service, but there is only one payment and no extras... you get the refund as a cheque from HMRC.

My boss uses PAYE for Nannies - haven't had any issues as far as I am aware.

With regard to NannyTax, I can't locate where they say the fee is £109. I can only locate where they say the fee is £260 here which appears to be for a full package, so perhaps they have a lower cost option. Can you link to details of where you found the £109 fee?

Sorry, must have mixed up names when I did the search, I cant find 109 on nannytax. These are the ones that do it for 109

I use taxingnannies.co.uk and they have been very helpful. £20 per month, well worth it for sorting out dull tax matters which ought to be straightforward but somehow aren't. And yes, we then get the refund for filing online, which reduces the cost.
