How do I get PLAYDOH off my rug????

I've had small bits before and always managed fine but a couple of weeks ago a couple of friends had some big kids round and I let them play in there and they got playdoh everywhere and I daren't touch the rug until I've had tips on removing the damn stuff

I had the same problem a few weeks ago ,I rubbed it with some ice cubes and it sort of lifted off HTH.

I found by accident a very damp towel left over it for a hour makes it soft again and then can be lifted

I had a patch and my LO was washing his lorries on the towel, when I lifted it an hour later the playdoh was soft enough to scrape off...

Ah, I remember now, I had been told that one ages ago!! Will try that over the weekend as although I expect stuff in my playroom, this is SO bad it can't be left!
