Hi , i am looking for a tent or playhouse for my special needs child , he is 14 , but mentally like a 3 years old.
I have now had the idea that if i cannot find a tent or playhouse big enough for him to have indoors then prehaps i can go down the route of a playcorner, like the ones they use a playgroups pre schools. i need ideas of where to find these please. Have tried searching on the net , but its not giving me what i want . help . Trying to do this for christmas. thanks

there was one (soft play area/mats and toys)for sale on ebay, might be too big/expensive and not sure when it ends but worth a look. Also on ebay they have soft play mats, could use to make your own area. If your DS soes to SEN school, ask for names of catalogues they use, some are only available for schools but some might be available for parents. I'm not working at the mo or I'd check for you.

How about asking a local joier to make one?

I have a pop up tent from the Pop up Co - I think - I will check where I got it from.

It is HUGE - but folds up.

You can easily get the kitchen, the play table and chairs and cushions dolls etc in it.

It does take up alot of room but if you have the space it is great! (also big enough for me to get in with them without giving myself and injury!).

Called the pop up mega mansion. I got mine from here (£34 at the moment - I paid £40 for mine) - you can also get them from Amazon I notice.

www.jacksons-camping.co.uk/kidstuff/hideaway.htm

It is about 2ft in diameter when folded up.
