OK, so I go away from mumsnet for less than 36 hours and all hell has broken loose!!

What's with all the shouting at childminders?!!

I personally, would like to say it takes a lot to be a childminder or similar and we deserve some respect!!!

i missed it all..i have never used a c/m..but my aunt is a c/m..she does a fantastic job and works very hard....my son has been to after school club a few times..he was punched by an older boy and learnt 2 swear words..he will never go again..if i need him looked after ..he will go to a c/m.....and i wouldn't worry if she popped on mn now & then.

to all the c/m on mumsnet...you do a brilliant job!
