AS we officially now think Ofsted is a Crock of S*.

Come on girl, doesn't matter what that bit of paper says, we know, and more than that YOU know you are a brilliant CM.

And unfortunately another one who has now decided to give up.

mumsanutter · 11/11/2008 06:56

Morning,

Come on Samy the lounge is open. Hot chocolate, chocloate twists, etc etc etc in the staffroom.

I have name changed, its Tulip31 but now mumsanutter!! Thought this was fairly correct for me!!

Wish I could over sleep - 5.30 on the dot ds3 and ds4 are wide awake!!

Shoshe · 11/11/2008 06:56

Ouch Gal, bet that has been painful.

Sometimes you HAVE to take time off. Your Health comes first.

mumsanutter · 11/11/2008 07:01

Gal, look after yourself. You must put yourself first. {{hugs}}

aGalChangedHerName · 11/11/2008 07:02

Jeez poor Sammyk

That's the thing isn't it? No consistency amongst inspectors. I bloody hate mine. Nit picking old witch!!!

Yep v painful. Have waited since 28th of August for my scan which i was meant to have within 6 weeks

Doc said waiting time for the op is 6-9 months so wont be anytime soon.

aGalChangedHerName · 11/11/2008 07:03

i'm here! i'm here!
where's the coffee
did not oversleep, though I am now a little late - been lurking in AIBU.

You'd think that I was not having sleepless nights worrying about when OFSTED is about to call.

Can someone please knock some sense into my head and tell me that there is nothing I can do about it and they will call when they do. it is better for me NOT to be worrying at frigging 4 in the morning about phone call that could be months and months away.

SammyK, you're lucky to have that inspection out the way! And your NVQ! What a relief that must be.

Shoshe · 11/11/2008 07:36

Four! Stop worrying! What will be will be, as Sammy and mine Inspection show, it will depend on the will and whim of your Inspector, not how and what you do!.

NumberFour · 11/11/2008 07:58

yes, i know, shoshe. always been a worrier. rather a warrior than a worrier but hey ho.

another moan if I may, i know what i have to do but gggrrrrrr.

DH gets 4 year old DS up and dressed. i have said DS should ideally be downstairs and dressed by 7.40 at latest so he has time to have breakfast. i have children arriving 7am, two at 8 and one at 8.15.

it is now 7.56 and DS and DH are having a battle of wills trying to get DS dressed.

i have enough to do in the morning (like chat on MN!!!) without having to do DS as well.

But to get him down for breakfast in time, i am going to have to sort him out too.

Today he will be down well after 8 and i have to leave for school run at 8.20. No time for breakfast. Peanut butter sandwich in the car AGAIN.

mumlove · 11/11/2008 08:07

Morning everyone.

After all the wind and rain yesterday the sun is out with lovely blue sky .

We are off to music tots this morning and only 3 school runs today as 2 of my mindees have swapped to thursday this week as it's the older 1's birthday today.

PinkChick · 11/11/2008 08:25

Chick,

My friend does embroidery on tops etc and she does all mine look here

Chick, were you sending out copies off risk assessment? If yes, please could I have some? I am getting really stuck with format, wording etc (tanya at tanyastots dot co dot uk) Thanks

PinkChick · 11/11/2008 09:47

hiya chick, yes i ahd the copies and was emailing them..will send them to you and the others i missed last week and will try and get some more scanned today before/after mindee has been.x

PinkChick · 11/11/2008 09:48

hmm.i cant get your friends site from that link??

SammyK · 11/11/2008 09:49

Hi everyone, feeling very jaded today.
I am in a 'why bother' mood which I am hoping I will snap out of when the caffeine kicks in.

Apparently 22month old mindee said to mum this morning 'can we go to Katie's now please' - Yes he is very clever, and very sweet!

Thanks for your kindness everyone, will come back and read through posts properley in a bit.

PinkChick · 11/11/2008 09:56

come on chick, even if you do start to poner WOH, you do REALLY know you work bloody hard at what you do and i dont know WHAT but something MUST be done about these pathetic inspections, theyre all WRONG and as long as these people keep working to their 'own' rules none of us will get anywere!

mumsanutter · 11/11/2008 10:27

Sorry pink, forgot 3 letters and hence link didn't work try this one

Come on Sammy, we all know and you do too that you work really hard at this and you and the children love it really. A friend of mine told me that the inspectors are only allowed to give out a certain number of goods and outstandings so if you get them afterr they have hit their quota then you don't stand a chance!!! Just ris e above it, you know that you are brillient

PinkChick · 11/11/2008 10:52

thanks just emailed her as i cant see much on the site, so hopefully she will let me know costs soon.thanks again

SammyK · 11/11/2008 12:15

aGal - hope your scan goes ok, sometimes you have to put yourself first, before bills and mindees parents.

PC - what a bad start - hope mum was embarassed by her mistake!

mumlove - like the sound of musictots, hope you all had a nice morning

shoshe - thanks

mumsanutter - I think I would die if I got woken up at that time every morning

No4 - with four kids your DP needs to be as on the ball as you and keep up his end of the morning tasks, give him a stern talking to

Feeling a little better now, took DS and mindee for a chocolate treat

aGalChangedHerName · 11/11/2008 12:37

Well i do have gallstones and rather a lot of the buggers!!

Oh well at least it's not something really awful eh?
