another newbie legal question

guys I have a question for you. my LA fund ncma membership, they told me they had sent off the quality start pack on monday and that my pli should be in place within a couple days. They then rang Wed and said they had sent it off , I have just rang ncma and they say its not on their system yet I have a mindee supposed to be starting Monday, what do i do?

Call NMCA on Monday first thing. Explain the urgency and make sure that they put temp insurance in place. They must be able to help you!

That's the most important thing at this stage.

Then once that is done get the LA to send info AGAIN because it is now urgent.

I did call today and tbh they werent helpful at all just said to call back Tuesday because it probably wasnt on the system, i did explain that it was just the insurance i was bothered about. Will try again Monday, mindees mum hasnt been in touch about time on Monday but think its still all on, and i darent contact her incase it all goes wrong on Monday.

They will be willing to take your money when it comes through so insist that they help you now! I have found NCMA to be more helpful than not, I must add.
Keep telling them you have a mindee starting (started?) and tell them it is imperative that you have cover.

Telling you ring back Tues is not good enough. They must get you cover from Monday. (I know you know that! What I am trying to say is that they must sort it now ...... and I know that you know that too.... just be firm and insist it gets done.)
