Aargh!!

Everyday I seem to run out of time!

I have NVQ to finish, am on an extension and it is long overdue being completed.

I need to implement EYFS framework into my paperwork

I need to fill in my SEF

I need to sort out my house

I have no quality time with DS.

I am sat with my oat and hat on as my house is freezing.

Warm the house up

Everything else will get better

Hiya KM, I daren't warm the house up the cost scares me!

I only have a gas fire in living room, and we don't have doors on this room (don't ask), only safety gates, so heat will just escape! I will have to get new doors - but then I will have to get new gates too! Sigh! Gates only fit where door would fit if that akes sense?

We don't have any radiators.

I canot make any suggestions about heating the house because it is all pretty new to me, having grown up in South Africa, and having moved here only 6 years ago.

But I OFTEN feel the same as you about having so much to do. I also usually feel that I have to do it all (well, most of it) because doing things is not high on DH's list.

My suggestion is take one thing at a time - bet you never ever thought of that one .

Get your NVQ assignment out the way.
Then look at updating your Policies in line with EYFS so that you can then ...
Do your SEF because a lot of the info on the policies will be useful in your SEF (this i picked up from training, not from having done it yet, I must add)
Pick the room in your house that is easiest to sort and do that.
Go into another room and throw away 5 things you don't need.

Just realised this is my list save for the NVQ - what I am trying to say is I 110% understand. It freaks me out to the point of me feeling as if I am losing my grip.

And then of course there are our kids to consider. Have DS as well and I feel guilty as poop if he is watching too much tv or spending too much time on pc (like his mother) and of course we know that being online is a time waster though life saver.

I am going to go and do something useful. Like empty the dishwasher, get lunch ready (not for me because I have just scoffed a slab of chocolate) and then get the 2 little ones to sleep.

Let me know how you get on.

Added to my above list is guilt because DS has been glued to the TV all morning with a lollipop type sweet in his mouth.
