Hi! I'm a new CM with no mindees yet but have my hands full with my own 2 LO's. I'm ready for a coffee, so putting the kettle on, anyone want one?

Hi Boys... Have a lovely weekend! Not jealous much honest

mumnosbest · 24/10/2008 13:12

I'm on half term next week too. Anyone got any great but very cheap plans to share? 7 days, no school and 2 LO's, scarier than halloween! We went to a maise maze last halloween. It was great LO's got in free if they went in fancy dress, it was very dark and spooky but the kids loved it

hpgoneforgood · 24/10/2008 14:57

I'm struggling with half term as I have 6, 3 of my own and 3 mindees. Summer hols was a nightmare because of the ages of all the children and I'm really not looking forward to half term especially as I don't have the car. Lots of craft activities coming my way I feel but find it hard as the children seem to have an attention span of 2 secs when together plus one has ADD.

mumnosbest · 24/10/2008 17:05

welly boots, rain coats and a park is what I'm planning

NumberFour · 24/10/2008 19:58

hope I am not too late for a suggestion. hpetc, but how about the old cinema trick - the older ones get pop corn and a DVD to watch while the younger ones get more of your attention / things that interest them more

that is, of course, if you have a bigger house than my tiny two up two down. Bloody hell, i am getting claustrophobic (with all respect to those suffering seriously from that!)

roll on half term
