What is an appropriate birthday present for my wonderful CM?

I want to get her something special and thoughtful but don't have loads of money. She has looked after our daughter for 3 days a week for the last 8 months and is like a surrogate mummy to DD when I can't be there. I don't really want to get her chocolates or flowers as I occassionally get her these just to remind her how much we appreciate her. I had wondered about getting her a gift certificate for a massage as her DH doesn't do anything around the house to help her out and she must get exhausted. She really deserves some me-time.

Any other ideas?

I'd LOVE that personally - my dh is also rubbish round the house and yes, I'm knackered so that would be the perfect gift

Yes something to treat herself and feel pampered I think.
The voucher for a massage is lovely, or for a facial or manicure etc. Just not a voucher that she'll use for the family, like for a department store.

I know it's lovely to surprise someone but we've just moved and I was stumped for a leaving pressie for our fantastic (now ex ) CM and eventually I bit the bullet and asked her if there's anything she'd like. SO pleased I did as was thinking of a voucher for a massage, manicure etc. and she said she couldn't think of anything worse! She was tickled pink with vouchers to buy something for the house. I'd never have guessed that's what she would have wanted and we know each other pretty well...
