This sort of thing?

child not wanting to take part in craft because they think they cant do it. (or getting stressy because its not working out the way they want.

Assist them , maybe suggesting alternatives and give them plenty of encouraging words and lots of praise.

Congratualtions and praise at the finish of task.

MrsWeasley · 05/10/2008 14:09

For: "Ways of supporting positive self esteem" can it be something like starting an activity with something easy that you know the child can do.

Asking for suggestions, letting the child have ownership of the project (Ie do their ideas rather than "what the book say" etc

MrsWeasley · 05/10/2008 14:15

Maybe here might inspire some thoughts

KatyMac · 05/10/2008 14:16

No Forest Skills level 1

It was lots of fun though but I can't believe I left it so late to do & then got ill

Never mind OU here I come

(btw I'd love to do level 3 forest skills - but it involves a 5 day active course on consecative days - I nearly collapsed after a 2 day one -so I won't be doing that)

KatyMac · 06/10/2008 22:18

How did you guess?

How is your little one? - I use glyserine suppositories (sp) & they work really well

OP posts:
BoysAreLikeDogs · 06/10/2008 22:20

Hoping to get some glycerine suppositories from the pharmacist tomorrow.

His is crying in his sleep

Heart breaking.

I saw your thread earlier when I was flapping before college.

KatyMac · 06/10/2008 22:21
