Hi, I?ve had a new enquiry for after school care which is fine as same school as my DD but they are also looking for me to pick him up from his house 3 mornings a week and take him to school.

I can do this as its on route to school but how would you charge for this? After school I will charge an hourly rate. Any thoughts????

I charge £10 minimum charge for after school and before school care as all my schools need driving too. one family drops off at 8.15am and we leave straight away I still charge the fee and the parents don't mind

£6.00 per hour, min 2 hours per day.

I charge a fiver. It's exactly an hour and he gets dropped off at my house.

Thank you for the replies, the trouble is that his house is only about 2 minutes away from the school so will probably only be in my care for 15 min max. After school will vary between 2 and 4 hours.

I want to be reasonable in what I charge but equally needs to be worth my while as morning school run not exactly stress free time of day!!!!
