Hi all!

I am shattered, ds has decided he no longer needs sleep. (He has never slept through and is 4 next week) Am keeping him home as I am just waiting for the crash. [sigh]

Can everyone please check PC's toy box embargo thread for me and tell me if am losing my mind?

Think it's sorted now

I'm going to crash soon too

SammyK · 30/09/2008 08:55

We should all schedule a nap

Do you still have your killer cold? I have one now too, must be something in the air in here!

Morning all. Knackered this morning as ds2 had me up at 2.30am then 5.30am! Not sure if he was hungry or something else but was so tired I just let him have what he wanted and latched him on. I really shouldn't do this but I was soooooooooo tired and had tummy pains from hell so just wanted to sleep!!!

Dh has been signed off work for another week so he's taken ds1 to school for me (he's off on his first school trip on the bus ). I'm just waiting for mindees to arrive in about half hour.

Whilst I'm here, can I please ask some advice........my website is in DESPERATE need of updating. Unfortunately a long time ago I lost all the files and could only retrieve them by pulling them from the actual website. This meant the structure isn't right and I've decided to start again. I'm just trying to decide whether to recreate the same website as it's what people know, or whether to start again with a totally different look? I know the feedback I've had when parents have enquired has always been positive so I do worry that a totally new look may not appeal so much? But maybe it could appeal more? I'm too tired to make decisions right now so could you help me out??!!

Have a good day everyone x

Yes - I am half dead

Nap sounds good

coolj · 30/09/2008 09:46

Morning girls. You all sound a bit down in the dumps, hope you all feel better soon. My DS3 was up in the middle of the night being sick. The joys of motherhood

Must be something in the air at the moment, I'm really fed up at the moment. Which ever toys/activities I suggest for the mindees they're are just not interested and they would rather watch tv (not allowed to tho'). This EYFS is getting me down as it's all being done in my own time. I'm seriously considering giving up.

Hope PC gets things sorted about the storage unit, some of the responces have made me

mumlove · 30/09/2008 13:31

Afternon everyone.

A nap sounds great as I have a thumping headache.

No sun today and it has started to rain so looks like we might get wet going back to school later as have to go twice.

vInTaGeVioLeT · 30/09/2008 14:21

OH FECK - i just lost my last remaining mindee

definately credit crunch related.

hennipenni · 30/09/2008 14:26

Oh Jeez Vi, I'm sorry, have you any more lined up?

vInTaGeVioLeT · 30/09/2008 14:41

nope - no more lined up - no calls - most minders locally are struggling to fill their spaces, so i don't hold out much hope to fill the spaces in the forseeable.

SammyK · 30/09/2008 16:44

Oh no Vi sorry to hear that

I have had a day and a half today - can't wait to get ds in bed and chill. That's if he fancies sleeping tonight!
