Hi, I'm going through the process of becoming registered and just wondered if there were many mums in the Luton area who would be looking for a childminder in the coming months?

Hello,
would be interested to hear from anyone in Luton who has qualified as a child minder through the local council and what it entails.
Many thanks

You don't have to go through the council, you can go direct to ofsted and apply, you need to then attend a course through the council/other body within 6 months I think (but I may be wrong) wrong www.childmindingforum.co.uk is a fab site to find out what childminding is really like/entails.

Google Childminding Help/Forum - Brilliant website.

Www.childmindingpaperwork.co.uk has some fab packs available, great reviews too. Good luck with it all.
