Hi you lot.. Miss me? We are doing very well, decided on taking my 9 months leave so have until January before I start back, though I need to start thinking EYFS (groan, hiss).

Lovely boy is now almost 15 weeks (which is madness) and now on bottles but on no schedule whatsoever and i couldn't even contemplate c/ming now. DS1 starts secondary on Weds and dd starts preschool next week (EEEEKKK) so I have a lot of personal stuff going on, and I feel justified in being selfish. I know I can't do both, I would fail my family or fail my mindees and go clinically insane .

Juggling them all, I haven't really had time to keep up with you all, so hope you are all doing well.

I was wondering how you were doing Crace! Wondered why you hadn't popped in for a while! Seems you are being kept busy

Good for you on taking 9 months off. Enjoy that time with your family.

Sorry I never got back yesterday but my big boy wasn't well and by the time we'd made sure he was ok and put some stuff in the loft etc, it was suddenly very late and I was too knackered to come back.

Anyway....

Thanks for all the welcome back messages, very sweet

LMGs - I will definitely come and moan from time to time to keep my sanity As for EYFS and risk assessments, I'm yet to finished reading the pack so can't help I'm afraid.

Mo - never an intruder and lovely to hear from you Hope the insets days go ok and you're ready for the kids tomorrow!! Facebook is fab isn't it! As for not over doing it, I tried but it was the day from hell at times yesterday. So far this morning has been VERY chilled as my big ds was in bed til recently (not well) and I only have 1 baby mindee as other one goes to grandparents most Tuesdays. My baby ds2 has been great so far this morning as had a very very good sleep, fingers crossed he'll stay good today and not get overtired and scream loads like yesterday!!

Katy - sorry you made a loss I've miss loads recently so not sure where you are with things now? What happened about whether or not you can be called a childminder?

Number4 - welcome to the staffroom

Henni - what an awkward situation to be in, hope it's only temporary

SBelle - hope it goes ok with school

Shoshe - at all those kids, well done for surviving!!

crace - great to hear from you, sounds like you're having fun. Good for you for having 9 months off, I really wish I could have but had no choice I'm worried my baby will grow so fast and I'll have missed it all as busy with others but I suppose at least I'm at home with him and I try and make time when others are napping etc. I also wish I had more time to get head around EYFS as I just haven't had the time or energy to get up to scratch with it all due to having a very needy baby. Anyway, enjoy your time being just mummy
