Childminders - minimum charge/hourly rate?

Hi, I?m a recently registered childminder and would like some advice on fees, please!

I?ve had an enquiry for a child aged two for 2 ½ hours, twice a week. Would you still charge your normal hourly rate or do you have a minimum charge for anything under a certain time????

Thank you!

I have a minimum charge of £10 a day, but because it's taking up an under 5 space I would probably charge more.

I split my day into 2 sessions.

Session 1 = 8.30am - 1pm @ £4.50 per hr
Session 2 = 1pm - 5.30pm @ £4.50 per hr

Parents book sessions and it is up to them when they drop off & pick up, I sill get paid for the whole session.

Example = parent wants from 10am -12.30pm they pay for a morning session ( £20.25 per session per child)
