New Au Pair just arrived....she looks like she has landed on the moon!

Poor thing - she's flown half way around the world and looks just so ...well ....fragile.

I have encouraged her to phone home, helped set up her computer and tried to make her feel welcome. I'm hoping it's just jet-lag and that her quietness and reticence is temporary.....

Bless her, she must be so tired and overwhelmed. You sound very kind.

What is it with Space roockets and moon landings in today's MN au pairs.

You people are scaring... I might have to employ a nanny for the next 15 years.

Just an update - it's all a bit better today. She's more talkative and energetic after a good nights sleep. She must just have been absolutely shattered.....
