Do you find that you're a bit stuck in the middle?

After all we have chosen careers that have allowed us to stay at home whilst looking after our own children.

But we do work.

What are your opinions?

I wouldn't have thought there was any doubt. Surely you work.

Was a childminder - defintley thought of myself as a working mum -as I was.

Yes, it can be amusing to read the pointless polarised SAH/WOH cat fights debates from the perspective of this exclusive no man's land of childminding.

I am definately WAHM without childcare for ds.

I usually don't bother with the bun fights either as feel the same as gooseegg.

have to add in some ways my job would be easier if i could put my child in childcare to do my job - i wonder if the government would pay for my childcare?

I had a conversation with a very male chauvanist bloke last week. He asked me how my job was going, as I hadn't worked for years! OK, apart from the 12 years that I dedicated to looking after 23 children that didn't belong to me!

I paid tax, therefore I worked!

God I'm not saying we don't work.

I feel we've got the best of both worlds.
