Can anyone tell me which column headings I need for a visitors book and register?

I am going to try and make one myself using a table and then bind it.

Name
Reason for visit
Time arriving
Time leaving

I just use a nice exercise book, draw lines & write the headings in

Urgh - are these compulsory?

Who do you make sign them Katymac? Obviously visitors but when parents drop off and pick up do you make them do it?

KatyMac · 10/08/2008 20:17

Not existing parents

Um no prospective parents (tho' maybe I shoudl)

Network co-ordinator

Visitors who want a cup of tea while I'm working

Not staff (so not my mum as she is a reg assistant)

OFSTED/HV/Photographers(have lots of these)/bank managers/HMRC people

Anyone I'm trying to piss off

SammyK · 10/08/2008 20:23

Am tempted to do one now just to annoy people!

Do you try other tactics to put off visitors that turn up wanting cups of tea while you are working, just out of interest obviously...

KatyMac · 10/08/2008 20:24

Very stinky bums

Make your own tea (& one for me)

Could you just feed this baby (doesn't work on G'ma aged people)

Could you help with that painting activity over there

We are just going to start baking

Photographers?

KatyMac · 10/08/2008 20:27

We tick lots of boxes

DH is Jamaican, disables, a home-husband & a childminder

If only he was gay he would please eveyone (except me)

So we are very photogenic & in lots of Childcare publications

elkiedee · 10/08/2008 20:52

I'm imagining you asking the photographers to make cups of tea/help feed the babies now.

KatyMac · 10/08/2008 20:54

Well actually one of the latest batch is of Photographers assistant/chaperone reading to a small child

She was a bit about her picture being used

SammyK · 10/08/2008 20:57

I'm mentally storing all those suggestions for future use.
