Increase in families wanting to share a nanny?

Just seen the BBC London news (22-July-08, 22:30) and they have an item about Nannies.

Increase for nanny agencies - "Nanny agencies are seeing a huge rise in recruitment because more women are going back to work to beat the credit crunch"

Do you agree that there is an increase in demand for nanny shares?

My friend is a Nanny who has just returned from several years working abroad (running a nursery), and she is finding it hard to get full time work here at the moment! She is just doing Agency work, thinks people are extending maternity leave!

You two should come over to the cost of nannies thread we're debating this very issue (well I am no one has replied )

I think they've taken completely the wrong slant. The point is that nannies are sooo expensive that people have to nannyshare to afford them
