Is it legitimate to use Childminded Children's Pictures on my website.

I do have the parents written permission to use the photo in this way....but can anyone think of any problems.

I want to be 100% sure, that I'm doing the right thing (btw the parent has supplied the photo)

id guess it was ok as long as parents agreed and no childrens names were used.

RTKangaMummy · 04/02/2005 21:21

It has your address doesn't it?

Do you have any family probs with access etc. divorce?

KatieMac · 04/02/2005 21:24

Not currently (and none expected) RTKM

I'm just a bit unsure

I suppose a childminders website with no children might be a bit suspicious

Your Right Bonkerz and I've already discussed renaming the photos no1, no2 etc rather than JXXXX or KXXXXX

I supose I'm being supercareful

I'm not sure I'd use my address maybe just my village name?

I wouldn't want DS photo on website

but if parents have given the photo then they are certainly happy with it.

How close up is it?

could you identify form it IYSWIM?

KatieMac · 04/02/2005 21:31

It's fairly close up and instantly recognisable, I'm having second thoughts.

For some reason my friends children are different somehow, I'm borrowing 2 tomorrow to take some shots I might do back shots

Why do I worry so much

I don't know the answer

If they were a long way away say in the garden then ok but close up no way

but I am funny like that

IMHO

I suppose I'm just not happy, I'll use DD and her friends - but maybe group shots and from the back and some of hans 'doing' things like Hama Beads/Jigsaw Puzzles/clay etc

Does that sound better

Isn't CP a pain

IMHO as long as you can't see their faces etc.
