What info does an agency babysitter need?

Trying to do a printed list - last time we used an agency (Sitters) we had one small baby, now it's 3 dc under 4!

Have done contact numbers, MIL over road, & where to find each child's pyjamas etc, favourite cuddly toys & stories...

What else? I think I may be fussing a bit, but it's the first time we've not just left them with MIL & I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing.

Sounds like you have it covered.

Speaking as a 'Sitters' employee myself, we also like to know where the tea and biscuits are kept

if allowed to give medicines - some parents fine with it other not so good to know.

as a childrens nurse parents usually say to me medicine cupboard is there theyve had/not had whatever we trust you to give if needed. Apart from one parent who was a doctor and wanted ringing before i gave calpol and she had asked me to nanny overnight for her as i was a nurse and she felt more secure!!!!

your rules around what children can/cant have before bedtime - children how ever well behaved will say we always have a mug of hot chocolate and a packer of crisps even if they dont!!

When I am babysitting I would always contact the parent's first if I thought the child needed any medicine.

Ah yes, have included location of the tea & biccies! & will hand over key of medicine chest containing Calpol & ds's inhalers.

Thanks ladies!
