We have had the same wonderful nanny since our boy was born. He's now 3 1/2 and starting nursery full-time (till 3.30pm each day term time) in September.

We'd love to share her with a local family, ideally with a younger child or a baby. As our son would be at school
most of the day your child would benefit from one-to-one care, and have company at the end of the day. And of course, everyone would benefit financially. (By my calculations, sharing her would be similar to sending your baby to nursery full time).

I can't praise our nanny highly enough. She truly is in a league of her own - one of those very rare people for whom
being a nanny is a vocation, not just a job. She's totally fantastic with babies, and encourages the child to discover
new things all the time. She used to work in a nursery and knows a lot about which games and toys are appropriate for which
age etc - as a first-time mother, I learnt an awful lot from her.

Our son adores her, which is why we are so keen to keep her.

She's very experienced and knows absolutely everything and everyone in the area. Through her, we have met many local
families and our son has made good friends even before he joined nursery.

In short, I can't recommend her highly enough!

She currently works Mon-Thurs from 8.30am to 6pm but she's open to suggestions and so are we.

Hi Choucroutegarnie

First of all - I'm not expecting baby until Jan next year.

However, we're already thinking about how to go about sorting out a local nanny share from summer of next year (we're in Stoke Newington). Can you let me know what the cost would be? Even if this doesn't work out between us now, I'd really appreciate the info as I'm just starting to think about costs etc.

private message me if you'd rather?

thanks so much - really grateful.

Hi - very happy to talk but I confess I can't work out the privacy settings on this site...

Please email me at choucroutegarnie1966 at googlemail.com and we can take it from there!

Thanks
