ooh I have just bought a laptop and printer did you put whole amount through? I only use mine for cm stuff and cousework wouldn't have bothered getting one otherwise!

I was thinking of putting 50% through, on the basis that I will be using it 50% for minding.

Is this fair? You can't really play the inocent card with the Inland Rev can you!

I was at an Inland Revenue workshop thing the other night(am a CM) and he said we can put through items like lap tops etc proportionally. So 50% personal use,50% minding would be ok.

I did with mine. It was 85% I think as I use it for Uni work and also cm stuff. The tax office suggested that percentage as well!
