Paying tax to HMRC

I?ve got to pay my quarterly tax etc to HMRC and have brought the payslip into work and my cheque book but no other details ? does anyone know who I make the cheque payable to? Do I need to put a reference on it? It?s sitting on my desk ready to go ? if I take it home I will certainly forget about it?

Either pay it at the post office, making it payable to POST OFFICE LTD
or if you are posting it make it payable to HM REVENUE & CUSTOMS ONLY and write the payslip reference number on the same line.
