Hi as some of you may know I am pg and due at the end of August. I am currently processing the invoices for July and I thought that as I am not taking any maternity leave as such either before or after the birth it might be a good idea to get permission from the mindees parents to leave their child with my mum should I have to get to hospital quickly and not wait around for them to come and collect their children (some work over an hour away!).
I thought of wording it

I give permission for to be left with Mrs X should a situation arise where _has to leave at short notice for the hospital. I understand that I will be contacted straight away if such situation should arise and asked to collect my child.

How does that sound I will be able to explain it better in the newsletter which I am also sending out regarding Augusts invoices and what will happen once I return to work. so just need something short and sweet for the permission form.

By the way all the mindees know my mum as do the parents so I know they wont have a problem with signing the form.

You need an 'a' before situation but otherwise sounds fine to me.
