Live near Redhill, Surrey? Need a few hours break from the children during the summer holidays?

Hi,

I am full time mum currently registering as a childminder and am looking to care for a child or children for a few hours over the summer holidays - or longer- until my registration is complete.

I am a qualified primary school teacher and have worked in a large nursery. I have previously been registered for childminding and now have two children of my own, a boy who is 2.5 and a girl who is 1 year old. I am a driver with a clean license. I live in Redhill in Surrey.

Are you allowed to do this if you are not registered? I was told it might jeopardise my registration if I did.
