QUICK PLEASE - What should I ask a prospective childcarer?

I'm going to go tomorrow to visit a childcarer for my son. This is the first time I'll be seeing one/using one. What are the important things I should know/ask?

The situation is fairly desperate over here (Montreal) with 2-3yr waiting lists, so hopefully I'll get a good feeling and she will be able to answer all the questions you think I should ask.

TIA

Try this list of questions - vary to your requirements.

I would try to go on gut instinct. Visit the setting, see how it is laid out, how children present interact with the childcarer, see how you get on with the childcarer.
