Resources - Which are best and does anyone subscribe to a magazine?

I am just starting out and have been looking around on the internet for inspiration and ideas and am thinking of investing in a book or subscribing to a magazine.

I have seen a childminding magazine in WHSmiths and wonder if it is worth subscribing or does anyone recommend any other materials.

Thanks!

Are you a member of NCMA. They send out about 4 magazines a year called 'who minds', which are really useful.

I don't get any others.

Also you can get a CM card for Early Learning stores, which gives you 10% off. Good for stocking up with paper, glue etc

I have been getting Nursery World for 22 years, but I don't think it is as good as it used to be ( IMO) but I gert it paid for as a support minder.

I have:

Practical Pre school
Nursery World
Childcare ( formerly Professional childcare magazine)
Nursery Education

all on subscription

I occasionally buy Junior education.
