Xmas gift for nursery

Any nursery workers on here who can advise what would make a nice little thank you Xmas gift please?

I imagine you always get lots of boxes of chocolates… do these sit in the staff room?! What would make a lovely gift that you’d enjoy?

Do parents tend to get a gift for the room, or just the key worker? And card for room or key workers?

Thanks!

Actually, keen to know this too! I was planning to get a nice box of biscuits and do a card addressed to key worker first, plus the others in her room, then the management - but just the one card. But this is my first Christmas at nursery so no idea if that’s right!

Not a nursey worker, but I always get £15/20 worth of £5 gift vouchers for Tesco (there's one across the road from the nursey) they can get coffee/lunch/wine whatever they want without having to go out of their way.

Our nursey raffles the gifts so everyone gets a fair share - i feel a voucher is better as they can get what they want with it.

As an ex nursery worker I would have loved this and much preferred it to a shared box of biscuits/chocolates as would most of my colleagues.
