Blimey, everyone is quiet today, obviously out and about enjoying the weather!

Took mindees to park this morning which was nice although blimin hot! Picked dd up from preschool and had lunch then had to go to hospital for her orthoptics appt. Now back home and mindees asleep! Off out again on school pick up soon!

Knackered already!

mumlove · 09/06/2008 16:14

A hot and sticky hello to you both.

I have just finished for today so will have a lovely cold drink and let DD read her reading book to while I sit down and relax.

1 mindee not comming tomorrow as is going to go out for the day with his mum and dad.

Hello all

Major panic baby with huge blisters all over her legs after a bath (well 3) & a wash with aqueous cream they went down a bit - then a visit to the GP with mum & antihistamine later made them go away

So how do i keep a baby away from pollen which appears to be the allergen of choice - while still allowing the others to play out (& bring pollen in on their clothes)

Urgh so hot and sweaty.

Pushing double buggy up and down to school twice.

We had to come in at 1pm, too hot and no shade

[waiting for DP to order me a sail shade when he does the patio in a fortnight]

Hi to all

No answers Katy re allergy baby, not come across this yet, so much sympathy.

Enjoy your evening/meeting everyone.

Hello Childminders!

I'm looking for someone to look after my 11 month old son and 3 year old daughter who will be going to Westbourne School Nursery in September 2008. I am a newly qualified teacher looking for my first full time post which I want to start in September 2008. So at that time I will need someone full time, but right now I just need someone who is OFSTED registered and could take my son 2 days a week and my daughter 2 mornings (as I will be driving her to West Wimbledon School at 12 noon every day until July 23rd.)

Let me know if you know of anyone!

Cheers
Gry

Hello Grychen

I am not in London, the other Cms here may be able to help you.

Have you had a look on your local childcare link ?

Other places to try - CMs may have adverts up in your local surgery/library/school noticeboard.

Good luck with your search

dmo · 09/06/2008 18:05

boys - we got a gazebo on saturday its brill they can play out in sun or rain

southernbelle77 · 09/06/2008 18:05

Thank goodness today is over and it's nearly bedtime!! Have actually had a good day, just hot and bothered in this heat!

We've booked a holiday - yippee!!
We are going to Disneyland Paris in July and I'm so excited (as is dd!). We really need a holiday. Dh always works so hard and needs a holiday so it's lovely we have something booked!

Got my scan on Friday and I can't wait! 12 weeks this week so into the second trimester next week which sounds so much better Feeling loads better too so that's good (well hopefully it's good! I'm still slightly paranoid that it might not be all as it should be)

BoysAreLikeDogs · 09/06/2008 18:12

A gazebo is not the best answer, not one single patch of level ground in my garden

I did think about one, DP said no, anchoring problems (WTF) poo bums.

All these people going on their hols

Did I tell you all that I am off to Malta with my DSis in a fortnight ????

Grychen · 09/06/2008 18:24

Thanks BoysAreLikeDogs will check for adverts, no joy from local childcare link as yet.
