Ideas for details to put in my detailed ad for an au pair

I need to advertise for an au pair starting in September, and have got as far as working out that I need to create a detailed ad, preferably with pictures, to try and attract good applicants and weed out unsuitable ones. I am, however, lacking in inspiration (hopefully this is not a reflection on my quality of life). Broadly speaking I think I need to cover:

  • a bit about DH and I (ages, professions, country of origin, interests)
  • a bit about DS
  • a reasonably detailed description of the job (hours, tasks, what time we'll be home etc)
  • a description of where we live / accommodation / resources (pc access etc)
  • minimum things we're looking for in an au pair

Is there anything else I should include? Or better still, does anyone have a brilliant example of an ad ?

(honestly, this is about as much fun as updating your CV)

I would put in some minimum requirements for the au pair e.g. age range, standard of English, other languages if you have a particular preference for e.g. a Spanish speaker, availability of references etc.

If you are providing any extras above the au pair wage such as bus pass, contribution to language classes etc, I would also put that in.
