sat here waiting for mindees to arrive one due in 10 mins other was due 40 mins ago! good job i don't have school runs to do yet! just decding whether to brave the weather and walk to drop in! sunny at mo and looks like it will hold but........... really don't want to be wet again!

Hi you lot. Hope you are all well, we are doing ok here. Not too bad actually - real test is when Dh goes back to work but I've lost a bunch of weight, 1 stone left to go to pre-pg and then 1st to pre-dd weight I am too hungry to care about such things, George is greedy! He has gained 11.5 oz in 11 days! I am so over the moon though - he's gorgeous and lovely. Dd is coping ok, not stunningly well, but it will get better.

Morning all! Sun is out at the moment, although not sure how long it will last!

When mindees get here I need to try and brave taking 3 under 4's out to get a new double buggy! I wouldn't usually go with them, but I have NO other time to do it and I need it for later on the school run! I stupidly got rid of mine as didn't think I'd need it (wishful thinking anyway) and then taken on a baby so really do need one now! Will then take them to the park so hoping they will behave for me!

Good to hear you are doing well Crace. Make sure you eat well though as you and George need to keep your strength up! When are getting pics??

Morning everyone. Could anyone give me a bit of advice. I had an enquiry and am interviewing parents tonight. They have a baby and want to start in Jan. I dont think a retainer is in order but would you charge a deposit, if so, how much. Any help appreciated.

I always have less children in the summer - it is so frustrating

cooli i always take 2 weeks deposit which is deduted from the childs last 2 weeks in the setting

Hello everyone, not been around for a while. Some of you may remember that earlier this year i found out my dh had been having an affair, well the kids and i have moved out and we are starting our new life without him. Have been without the internet for a bit but am now getting sorted.
You wont believe this but ofsted were great with me and i got my reg certificate for my new house before i even moved!! shocking eh??
Hope i havent missed too much on here and hope everyone is doing well

Ds has just got all upset because I wouldn't let him put the video of me giving birth to him for mindee (4) to watch . I've explained very calmly why I can't without parents permission etc. and now he's going to be nagging me to ask when her mum comes to collect her

Oh my, what a day!

I did get a buggy (after fun and games getting 3 kiddies there!). Put mindees in, carried on to park etc and the bloody silly wheel buckled. No reason for it but it just sort of bent. Well, thinking it was maybe like that when I got it but didn't notice, but realised when the wheel kept scraping against the side. So, had to take dd to preschool so did that and then took it back! Didn't have any more so had to get a different one (which was twice as expensive) but it is soooo much better and definitely worth the money and this one fits in the boot of the car rather than having to go between the seats on the floor!

Knackered now (also mowed the lawn when mindees went home!) so off to relax for the rest of the night!!

Wow that did turn out to be a busy day Belle!..yo should take it easy once in a while you know!

Well had quite nice day really, nice sunshine, mindees all playing nice, one after schooly went home ill from school, so one less at pick up, then one who's home we pass to mine's dad was in so she went as well..so me, dd and 3 mindees, baby slept and me dd and other two played in garden on tramapoline(well they did, id would bounce, just go straight through!..still im trying!...hoping forcast on msn is correct showing more sunshine tomorrow, go playgroup in afty, might visit park in morning then kitchen /builder guy coming tomorrow night, am hoping to god he is good and reliable as he does ALL the work himself, so thats just what we need!

Offfor a bath as have been sweaty betty all day..see ya >
