Digging the rain coats out again, going to get very wet on the school run unless anyone waves their magic wand!!

Morning ML..same here today!, but only have before and after schoolys...which brings me to why im a tad miffed this morn....i got a text yesterday..mum of newest mindee, says can i have her child till late tomorrow instead of normal as agreed..i said yes but told her(true) that i MUST have more notice as i have had to cancel plans now, i say see you tomorrow night then..no reply.......mindee due to be collected from school and stay here till collected late on..............8.10am upstairs doing dd's hair other mindee colouring in downstairs, knock at door..the new mindee and mum, pushes her in?..i say i didnt know she was coming, she said oh yeah i text you...she said in a previous text she 'MAY' need her to come early one morn but would see what time school would take her in..and then nothing!...said sorry in a 'not really bother that ive messed youa round kind of way'..so am really annoyed that she already is showing such utter disregard to me..i WAS warned by nursery, but thought different!

morning. i'm soaked and not even gone anywhere yet! went out to garage to get rain cover out for double buggy and dd let the cat out the front door! the cat has never been out this way, garden only! so have traipsing round looking for him. bless him he came back round the back - where he usually goes soaking wet! and now so am I!. the sooner we get the cat flap fitted the better! arg!

I have morning off so am staying in with ds for a bit of mummy-son time. Makes me wish I didn't have to work.

Pinkchick that doesn't sound too good, did you have a discussion with her the other week?

I am hoping the rain will have stopped for me taking ds to nursery (yeah right!).

ive had discussions with her from day one!, the contract was changed the day before it was due to start and every week the hours have been changed the night before!
Its not on, im not a drop off point, i have my own family to sort out, other mindees and ratios to think about!

Well awol mum took offence when I last asked for outstanding fees and said I am not being understanding I have skinted myself and bent over backwards to help her out!!

I think you are right to do the letter PC, your family have to come first and if this is going on 3 weeks in then get out while you can!

Still haven't done letter to awol mindee's dad, nor have I called ss about family friend.

TBH I am functioning on very half hearted autopilot ATM and am SO relieved I have the morning off. If we weren't so tight financially think I would have crumpled in a corner by now. Am also on cocodamol as I have awful toothache and can't afford the dentist.!

Right I have called and logged my concerns with social services, they are looking into it so thta's that off my worry list.

well done...now that tooth!...shall i get the whisky and the string?????

HaHa! DP suggested whisky last night but I think it was more for his benefit I hate the stuff!

Found the strong stuff and it seems to be working (fingers crossed), if not will rob a bank and go to emergency dentist tonight.

i hate whisky too!, remember ahving tootheache as a kid and parents putting cottonwool ball soaked in whisly on my toothe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..hate whisky, hate cottom wool now..urghhh

oops i sent it to your lycos addy, will try again...well settling in was 2 weeks which when contract changed i chaanged to 4, ive now sai i will extend that for a further 2 weeks meaning 6 weeks in all!

well just given walls in playroom two coats, needs a third put roller was still a bit damp so paint not drying as fast as it shoul..so have about 20 mins to kill now.............
