DD (1) just came back from the gp and she has gastro, which means no food for 24 hours and no milk for 48 hours...I was supposed to mind a little girl to day but can because DH is also off sick because of the gastro.

How long shall I wait before minding again ?

48/72 hous after last D or V - which ever is in your policy

How long would you send a CM child away?

To be honest I didnt do my policies yet ..So if I understand right, dd had a d at 7 this morning, if she has nothing until tomorrow morning so it's ok to accept the child ? Thanks for your help !

No it would be wednesday morning at the earliest.........48hours! But I do 72now as we have had so much D&V around here!

No that would only be 24 hrs - it would have to be Wednesday or Thursday - you need to check with your local EH dept what your area rules are

She will think you are a professional (esp if you show her the 'Guidance for schools on Infectious & communicable diseases')
