Is there any wine in here? Or chocolate?

I had baby mindee here last night - but mindee's mum was here too drinking wine with me! It's nice when you get a lovely 'un aint it!

yeah(have replied on your other thread!)..dad dropped her off tonight and kept saying thankyou all the time and that they REALLY appreciate it..i bought them some nice wine and a card and he was SO gratful..bless..you know when you automatically like someone?..i always do little discounts and things for these as they're like us when we first stared out in so many ways, so you just feel for them..i discounted hourly rate for tonight, then knocked more off when i gave them the receipt, mum kept saying no, but i think its a lot anyway and the extra few quid will mean more in their pocket at the minute with all this credit crunch..when we were in same position, no one helped us at all, so i like to help as i know how ahrd it is

also got invite to my other baby(2yrs) mindees christening in summer, family only..so am very honoured..thing is i adore these two and just so happens both sets of parnts are wonderful too

I have chocolate too and a cuppa - I love galaxy PC!

They sound lovely PC, IMO that is the upside of CM'ing, forming family bonds that last for years.

Did your dd have a good birthday?

Shoshe · 31/05/2008 21:24

Not minding today but have been at college all day doing my Diploma in Home based Childcare. Unit 2 atm. Just finished Unit 3

Units 4 and 5 Sept to Dec

Urgh

KaySamuels · 31/05/2008 21:40

Hi shoshe

PC you mentioned birthday trampoline so assumed had just had Bday, not been on here a lot recently so not sure whta has happened when !

BoysAre.. I am doing NVQ3 and have EYFS and first aid booked in too - feel quite urgh about it too!

BoysAreLikeDogs · 31/05/2008 21:42

Urgh indeed

Like pulling teef

I am not academic, at all, and it's agony truly.

25 years since I last wrote an essay

KaySamuels · 31/05/2008 21:47

I like the workshop type ones but don't like the hands on first aid one and my NVQ feels like I am working completely alone with no tutor support.

Am ok with the essays if I have my portfolio and know what unit I need to be doing! Starting to panic about it now as should be done by end of term! AArgh {runs to a cosy corner and begins to whimper!}.
