We live in Muswell Hill and are looking for someone to take care of our four year old daughter after school three days a week (Wed/Thurs/Fri, 3.30pm-6pm).

Duties to include collection from school and return to our house (5 mins walk) or a trip to the local park (5 mins walk), weekly ballet classes, or visit to friends.

Our daughter is a sweet-natured, kind and well-mannered child who enjoys a range of activities.

We are looking for someone who is enthusastic, reliable and caring. You must have a childcare qualification (pref NVQ level 3), be CRB checked and have checkable references. You must also be a non-smoker and speak excellent english.

Ability to work extended hours during school holidays a bonus.

Please contact Alison at [email protected] or on 07831 395341.

I don't mean to come across as rude, but it seems unlikely that you will attract such a highly qualified person for so few hours? You may need to consider unqualified but experienced applicants, or you may end up with a qualified, but not very desirable nanny!!

My plan is to search for my 'ideal' person, and if that doesn't work then I may need to compromise a bit, but like everyone, I just want the best for my girls.

Totally understandable! Just don't want to get stuck with the only qualified person no one else wants...

Fair point. I guess I should consider experienced but unqualified as well. There must be someone out there who can help me!
