Does anyone know of a Babysitting Circle in the Cheltenham area or how would I go about setting one up ?

I was wondering if there was already a Babysitting Circle in Cheltenham ?
Or if there isn't does anyone have any experience of having set one up ?
I have an 8yr old DS and I am fed up of not being able to go out or if I do having to pay more than it costs to have a night out !

Have you tried contacting your local branch of the NCT. I know your ds is now 8 by some branches do offer a babysitting exchange.

From your profile I noticed that you are a single parent, thus Gingerbread is appropriate for you to contact for support/advice. May be worth getting in touch with them 0800 018 4318 (Mon-Fri 9am-1pm) to see if they know of anything in your area.

we are setting up one near me, you just arrange with a group of friends and decide how you are going to keep count, it can be as simple as beans in a jar, we are keeping track on an email count, starting with 21 points each one point per hour.
