CM Club: Brochures - Do you have one, what do you put in it?

Do you have a brochure which you e-mail/give to parents who make an initial enquiry?

What do you have in it... a lot of info, or just enough to pre-sell and get them to make an appointment to see you?

I'm experimenting with having a brochure (haven't had one for about a year now). It is a work in progress. Not sure what I should and shouldn't include.

Any advice?

Very nice Nick

Is it for printing A4 or A5? 2 sided or booklet?

nannynick · 27/05/2008 10:19

I rarely print anything these days. It is for e-mailing, so on-screen display.

I think it needs testimonials in it... not sure if they should be in full, or just a short quote. Any thoughts?

Looks very good. Condensed testimonials would be a good idea.

Bit of proof reading; the bit about first aid - babies, children and adults shouldn't be capitalised.
Page 3 last line - the word though should be thRough.

nannynick · 27/05/2008 12:16

Have updated it - is it any better, worse?

Yes, i think the improvements are good. The testimonials are to the point and look good in the blue boxes.

I think the words through out should be one word - throughout.

How will people get the initial information about your babysitting service? Is it that people will ask around and others will give them your email address so that they can email you for information?

nannynick · 27/05/2008 12:32

I have prompt boxes on certain pages my website which enable a visitor to enter their name and e-mail address. They are then sent a verification e-mail (to prevent someone entering in somebody else's details) and when they confirm, they are sent the brochure.

Sounds sensible.

Have you got a link to your website so I have can have a nosey at that too

nannynick · 27/05/2008 12:47

Here it is. Go on... have a nose around
