Got a free day off today so thought I'd come and open up as it's not been opened today.

So, good weekend everyone? I ended up ill Sat/Sun so things just didn't go to plan with sorting as much as I wanted out. Never mind, dh did well with our bedroom furniture over the weekend and after work tonight is building the dressing table and then it's all sorted and I finally have enough storage to get a lot of the mess put away

Weather has been miserable here the last couple of days. Off to meet dh for lunch today with ds as it's our only opportunity (me not working AND ds off school). Need to do some more shopping too as still need bits for my hospital bag, should I end up needing it if home birth doesn't go to plan.

Can't believe due 3 weeks and 6 days. Just the rest of this week and next week of work then I'm off for 12 weeks

Right, gone on enough now......can you tell I'm feeling better and pleased to be off today lol.

Hi LT, can't beleive you've only got 3 weeks left !! Will defo have to get together.

Why can you not mixed business with friendship, had a mindee parents became friends etc and why do they always treat you like a mug!! Just given notice to them, reducing work load due to several reasons and they've taken it the wrong way!!! They know the reasons too!!!

Maybe I'll pop round after the school run one morning when I'm kiddie free if that's ok with you?

I've just logged onto MSN if you want to talk about it. Not sure of your situation but yes, sometimes it can be difficult when you become friends (although I'm pretty lucky with the lot I've got now HOWEVER that could change)

Am not working todaya s most of my after schoolys dont bother through hols, got one coming full day friday to help parents out tho(see i can be nice)

DD and i are having a lazy day, we wwere going to go to fair but its grotty here, rain on and off, so having a day in, just made our own brioche typy rolls with choc inside served with banan flavour dream topping!..what a breakfast!..dd thinks its cool

off to play on v-smile with dd then have a little tidy up.
BAck to work 8.15 in morn, but working an overnight sat night for regular mindee(baby)...just hope we all get some sleep.bye for now

Morning girls! Thought I'd make an appearence this week, since I'm off work!

Is it really only 3 and bit weeks since that baby is born Looney? How time flies. I remember that rotten morning, when you thought it wasn't going to be and all the worry and stress you had about mindees and parents etc. Looks like it all worked out in the end. I seem to remember I said back then, that whatever life throws at you, you'll get through it and you did!

I've got a quiet house for a couple of hours and then DH will be back from work. DD is away until Friday, so I'm going to get busy cleaning I think. I did want to spend the week doing garden things, but its still a bit wet atm. Going to clean the cooker within an inch of its life today, I think!

He is gorgeous, and lovely. Hates sleeping at night but dh has dd so i can try to rest during the day. So all is well but i look forward to emotions to get in check, and feel more myself.

Hello all! We've been out this morning and I'm knackered! Just dd and one mindee today. Had a good time though so it's ok to be tired
Mindee now asleep and dd watching a bit of tv and I'm trying to stop her falling asleep!!

Well parent arrived and paid for this week in full tonight, was lovely and as im soft plus had another 'bit' of news half an hour before suggested as other parent wont collect from mine, how about her LO come for few hours one day this weeek and i meet other parent closer to them, we're always out and about anyway, so could meet up before other children are due to be collected?soft?..Moi???..anyway, they were very appreciative and said will let me know tomorrow...

NOW the other bit of news is, one of my after schooly's one of dd's best friends has just given me notice tonight..one of parent ahs just been made redundant and TBH it already crossed my mind when it happend..althouhg they expect to get another job really soon, they obv cant take that chance, plus parent is now home, so why have a cm when youre there yourself?..understandable..so ive accepted notcie and said if he finds something and starts working again during notice period ill scrap it, but i get the impression i still wont be needed??..i said id not advertise space, but dp says i should and if nothing comes up fine, but if someone wants space i can speak to her(which is what i said id do if i was approached)..oh bugger, swings and round a bouts..i guess if nothing happens and they leave, i do have a verbal agreement that my first mindee will be wanting to come back in sept..so may have a couple of quiet months then hopefully she will come back?..fingerss crossed.

Oh my goodness, just had a call from a parent I saw months ago asking if I still had a space and they would take whatever days I have spaces and can they start on Friday!!!!
Coming tomorrow for settling in and contracts!
Never thought I'd hear from them again!
It's come at a good time for me and even told them I'm expecting and they still want me!!
Well that's me totally full now then!

Mo - I know, I was convinced wasn't I. I must say this pregnancy seems like a very long one and now want it over with! I get comments all the time at the school like 'this is the longest pregnancy ever' and 'my god, you still not had that baby yet'. Probably because I was showing really early. Anyway, not long now. Just 8 more days of work left Thanks for being there when I was really low and worried, meant a lot! I also feel really bad because I think I missed you going away? If so, I want to hear all about how your prize holiday went?
