Providing food

I'm trying to find a CM for my DS and I've just seen a very nice lady but she said she doesn't provide any food except for snacks and water. Is this normal? It seems a bit of a faff to have to take stuff in for him but I've never used a CM before so not sure if this is standard practice.

not patronising at all mlp in fact I'm going to nick some of your meal ideas!

My ds doesn't have his supper there acionyx but the others do, I think our cm gives him some bread sticks or other snacks while they're eating and he carries on playing, tbh I think he likes it as he gets to play with all the toys uninterrupted!

I'd much rather she ate at home but she is VERY food oriented and I can't see her havinga bread stick and playing with toys if she thinks there's serious food being had by everyone else. Oh well. We'll try it and see how it goes - I just don't want her to demand another dinner at 7.
