Just back from dropping ds off at school. I've got a free day off until 2.30pm when I start the school runs which is fab. I stayed with ds at school for 40 mins and it was even better that it was today as it's Grandparents Day again and poor love never has grandparents there as only has my parents and they live 4 hrs away So, I was standing in so he had somebody there anyway

Sausage and egg buns sound yum

As for sunshine, ours has gone and it's a wet day today Probably just as well though as I'm using this time on mhy own to do some more sorting upstairs so I have a head start for the weekend. Going to stop at lunchtime though, and I'm meeting a nanny friend at 1.30pm whose on maternity leave (due today) for tea and cake at local garden centre which will be lovely as I NEVER do stuff like this, even on days off!!!

Then off at 2.30pm to get mindee then to ds's school and by the time we get back, I'll only have about an hour and half of work then back to just me and ds.

PC - I could be being very thick here but my head is one big fog these days........have you name changed again from RG?

PinkChick · 23/05/2008 09:58

Yeah i did chick..went off RG..like this one better...hope you have a fab day, it does sound lovely

That's ok then, just making sure I have the right person . How's your brother now?

Right, off to start the work. Just emailed final invoices for first week of June. 2 more weeks of work and that's it for 12 weeks - it's coming round fast now

Oh.....guess what happened last night...what a drama!!! Last parent collected her lo and we said our goodbyes until Wed next week (as giving me a break today). Couple of mins later she's at the door all worried.....she'd got her 15 month old in the car and the car had locked itself and the keys were inside There was nothing we could do to open car up and of course with it being really warm yesterday, she was worried about her being in the car for long due to windows being shut. She said she'd rather have the window smashed to get lo out. So, dh was luckily here and had to get a hammer and smash her lovely BMW company car window. It was also worrying because we didn't know where the glass would go. Luckily mindee only ended up with couple of tiny bits on her leg which I got straight off when I got her out then passed her to mum. Her poor mum, she was just relieved to get her out. She called her dh and took his car home whilst my dh and hers cleared the massive load of glass in the car/on the road. Ds found it all worryingly exciting!

Right, really am off now. Have a good day and catch up later x

PinkChick · 23/05/2008 10:30

Ehat a panic Looney!, glad it was sorted quickly tho.

Brother in on hol at minute..with HER and kids..it was booked and paid for, he had already cancelled the one that wasnt fully paid for.
He said to our mum that he couldnt stand the thought of the kids being alone with her on hol, knowing they would run in opposite directions and she wouldnt be able to watch them both near pool/road etc(kids ARE little terrors, but what does that make her!?..no dont answer that!)..anyway, he arrnaged seperate rooms so he and his son have one and she and their daughter have other, but i AM worried a-she will get drunk and do something else and B- he will get drunk and end up in her bed..said hell will freeze over first but????
Anyway, eye looks fine just looks like black eye, no sight in it and has had to buy some glasses first time ever to help his good eye!
Driving again, working as norm..i spoke to him a week or so ago as its been a while since it hapepnd now and said if he would like the kids to get to know eachother again and if hes serious about sticking around, then im wlling to bring dd over and we can go out somewere(mum lives right opposite lovely park)..he said ok, but i didnt push it..just before he went he gave mum some cash and asked her to get someout door toys they could take with them for going to park and that..he ahsnt taken them before(like i say they run off in oppsite directions), but maybe he IS going to try with both them and us..hope so

Off to play out again now, have a fab day

I've got to leave for the airport (going to amsterdam) in 3 hours I've got my nail appt at 1.30 i haven't packed the house is dirty and i wanted to leave it ready for work on tuesday so why do i feel totally drained and not baothered to move when i should be bouncing off the walls in excitement? {whispers} am i getting old ? or is it because i barely slept last night because my dd's are both in greece and i was worried? (of course they are fine and i know they are being well looked after but we didnt get the txt to say they had arrived until after midnight)
